The September intake is the main entry point for universities in the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada — the widest course choice, the most scholarships and the smoothest start to campus life. It is also the intake students most often miss, because the real work begins a full year earlier. Here is the timeline we set for every NextCampus student targeting September 2027.
September–October 2026: Research and Decide
Twelve months out, your only job is clarity. Shortlist your subject, compare countries against your budget, and understand entry requirements honestly.

- Check whether your grades meet direct-entry requirements or need a pathway
November–December 2026: Conquer Your English Test
Book your IELTS, OIETC or Duolingo test for this window. Testing early leaves room for a retake without derailing your timeline, and several scholarship applications in January will demand a valid score. Meanwhile, request transcripts and certificates from your institutions — attestation takes longer than anyone expects.
January–February 2027: Submit Applications
This is the golden window. Finnish and other European joint applications close in January; UK, Canadian and Australian universities are actively making offers; US Fall deadlines mostly fall between December and March.

March–April 2027: Convert Offers and Arrange Finances
Offers arrive. Compare them on total cost and career outcome, not ranking alone, then pay your deposit to secure the chosen one. Now begin the financial groundwork that visa officers scrutinise: consolidate funds into acceptable accounts, arrange sponsor documents, and start the 28-day seasoning period required for UK applications. Canadian applicants should open their GIC now.
May–June 2027: Visa File Preparation
With your CAS, LOA or I-20 in hand, build the visa file: forms, financial evidence, TB test for the UK, medicals for Australia and Canada, and police clearances where required. Book biometric appointments early — VFS slots in Dhaka vanish quickly from June onwards.
July 2027: Submit and Prepare
Submit your visa application by early July at the latest. While you wait, attend pre-departure briefings, shortlist accommodation and prepare for any credibility interview.
August 2027: Fly
Visa in hand, book flights for a week or two before orientation, arrange currency and travel insurance, and pack against your university's arrival checklist.
